This class is very practical and hands on. No exams, just a project you work on throughout the year. You submit the progress of your project every week before lab and the professor discuss with you about your progress, which is more helpful than any other project-based class I've ever had. It gives you a good understanding of what involves in the system engineering of a nanosat, such as writing a concept of operations and system architecture specifications, and a preliminary understanding on how to do budgeting of various subsystems, etc.
