AEmp changed structure the year I took it. It now has more hours, weekly assignments, 2 projects, and 2 tests. It’s a lot, but doable. Even without putting in too much time, you can manage a 14–16 grade, and the hardest part is really the weekly assignments. The issue is that the material needed to do them was often only properly provided after the deadline.
About 90% of the course is modeling, and I don’t think it’s necessary to have taken AMS to do well.
