Principles of Microeconomics

The professor was excellent, and the course content is highly accessible. The study materials are perfectly suited for learning and closely aligned with what is required for both the midterm and the final exam. It is an excellent introductory course.

It is somewhat unfortunate that several concepts are later repeated in Principle of Macroeconomics, in my case, since I took Principle of Microeconomics first and then Principle of Macroeconomics, some topics felt repetitive. I believe students who had it the other way around in the first semester may experience the same feeling when starting...

This is probably one of the most accessible courses, the professors are impeccable and the materials (slides) are super detailed. I recommend that you take past exams, which are not difficult and sometimes They repeat information from previous exams.

Since this is an introductory course to microeconomics the exams, quizzes and projects where very manageable. The concepts are not very complicated and the course is not demanding at all. I recommend when working on the project get feedback from your teacher assistants or the professor.

It’s a very numerical course, like some type of economics + mathematics course!

Hated it. Didn’t think going to the theoretical classes did much for me, but recommended not skipping the practical. Also try to do the exercises of each class before, from the handbook on moodle. Had a midterm and an exam, and some quizzes on moodle I believe.

Better than principles of macroeconomics in my opinion, less theoretical and easier. Even though my grade was lower than in principles of macro, i think it is easier to get a good grade as long as you solve the exercises to study for the exam.

Not a difficult course it is quite intuitive and you can learn everything with the PowerPoints. The TAs explain everything before doing the exercises and the ones you do in class are similar to the ones on midterms so pay attention.
