Continuation of RCI. Labs are cool, you will learn all about routers and internet protocols. Very easy to have a good grade.
Cadeira um bocado mehhh. Fui para esta cadeira a achar que ia ser uma continuação de RCI e não foi nada do género. É fácil passar e de conseguir um 13/14/15 mas difícil de ter acima de 16/17/18. Esta cadeira só tem um professor e é ele que faz tudo. Convém ter umas boas bases de RCI. Não dá muito trabalho mas não achei interessante de todo. Recomendo só a quem já sabe que vai seguir a área de redes ou quem tem muito interesse em saber bem que protocolos é que os PCs usam para comunicar entre si, como funcionam as chamadas por IP, gestão de redes, mecanismos de qualidade numa rede, etc.

Cadeira fácil, Os Labs são bastante fáceis e consistem apenas em seguir o guião e no final responder a uns quizzes sobre o que foi feito. O exame é fácil, e as notas são na grande generaliade (+14). Cadeira fácil no geral, e que consome pouco tempo

A little disappointed with the course material. We studied a chapter about voice over IP (telephone communication over the internet - kind of an old topic) in an old edition of the book Computer Networking: A Top-Down Approach. In the 8th edition of the book, that topic was removed, and 4G and 5G networks were introduced, which showed how irrelevant the course material was.
I don't know if it's still the same, but the theoretical classes were kind of boring. Overall, an easy course to get 14/15, but harder to get a high grade (17+).
