Fast review
Not a tough course, an easy to complete project and a medium difficulty exam. Overall it's a good one if your trying to finish your specialization and you're interested in learning how to make systems more capable of their load and how to adapt to changes in load.

In Alameda they were presential but in Taguspark we had to join through Discord. Obviously it didn't work out as the teacher didn't allow us to interact by talking and responding to questions in class or listen to our Alameda classmates questions. This was crucial for me as one of the best qualities of the...

Professor Miguel Matos made the theoretical classes really interesting. The material is also engaging, especially for those who enjoy topics like scalability and evaluating systems. In my opinion, it's important for anyone interested in the SD area and computer systems overall.
The project was about evaluating a system of your choice using what we learned in class. Since it was open-ended, the difficulty level is up to you. In my opinion, the trick is to pick a system that's easy to deploy in Docker and one where the performance gets worse with more...
ESLE is a very interesting course. I actually consider it really important, especially if you're thinking about doing research in distributed systems. It's not more demanding than SEC.
The project was interesting, though since it was open-ended, each group ended up with a different system, so the lab professor gave more general support.
The exam is similar to SEC in structure, but in my opinion, the material itself isn't as complex.
