The teacher was really good not only at explaining the concepts but also in clarifying students doubts. I always had trouble at math and loved this course and also I understood all the concepts which made it a great experience. The concepts are easy to understand, there is no workload unless you opt for doing the exercises from the lists and watching the videos and the midterms and exam were exactly on point, even easier than the exercises from the lists. One of the most enjoyable courses here at nova. Really felt like I learned a lot.

The math here is kinda like high school math, easier to remember everything. Recommend going to Áurea’s class right from the beginning, she’s the best teacher. Do every exercise from the handbook and it’s better if you try to do them beforehand. I ended with 16.

Not as scary as Calculus I at all. It is a easier course that focuses on lots of rules and theorems that are easy to understand and it takes less practice than calculus I kind of exercises. Easier to have better grades in my opinion.

Easier than calculus I, it is quite manageable. The teacher explains everything quite well and the midterms are similar to the exercises you do in class. The videos are quite useful, so watch them and take notes

Coming from a person that struggled a lot in Calculus 1, i can say that Calculus 2 it’s nothing compared to that. It’s much easier to keep up with and it’s not that hard!

Calculus II is tough. No way around it.
The workload is heavy, the concepts are abstract, and if you fall behind even a little, you really feel it. I got an 8 in the first exam — which, honestly, was frustrating. I thought I understood the material… clearly I didn’t as well as I should have.
For the resit, I changed everything. Instead of just solving exercises to get them done, I focused on actually understanding what I was doing and why it worked. I redid problem sets, practiced a lot more, and forced myself to fix the gaps instead of ignoring them.
I ended up getting a 20.
Same course....

You should prioritize a good teacher which who you can really learn and understand. Study at home, prepare well classes and make sure to have your doubts clarified. With a continuous study is not that hard
