The evaluation is mainly based on group projects (70%), which are interesting but very time consuming, especially for a course done in only 7 weeks. Most of the practical classes will be to support the projects, where professors help with possible doubts and give tips. The exam covers the topics of the theoretical classes, which are quite hard, particularly if you don't have the required background, but since it's only worth 30% of the grade, it's manageable. As aulas teóricas no geral foram úteis, embora possam parecer um pouco repetitivas. Acho que se acharem a matéria interessante, poderão gostar da cadeira. É necessário fazer dois projetos cm relatório que podem acabar por ser uma dor de cabeça se algo no código estiver incorreto, mesmo que seja a coisa mais insignificante, pois está tudo dependente. No geral as notas são boas, é apenas uma cadeira bastante exigente a nível de projetos, ainda por cima com outras cadeiras ao mesmo tempo.

The evaluation is done by two projects worth overall 70% of your grade and an exam worth 30%. The projects are very hard, they are done in matlab and they do a kinematic analysis of gait movement and another one of your choice for the first part and a dynamic analysis on the second part . This course will take up a lot of your time and if your group is not participating it will be incredibly hard. The lectures aren’t worth going imo because they’re only take up time you will have to spend on the project.

Destaque para as aulas práticas que foram imprescindíveis tanto na consolidação dos conhecimentos teóricos como no apoio à realização do projeto. O professor Carlos Quental foi incansável na resolução de problemas que foram surgindo com o MatLab e resposta a dúvidas no geral. Exame acessível.
