Classes are a bit slow if you have some finance background and the video lessons are a bit long on some weeks. A good first group work is essential to have less workload down the semester and it's important to find hardworking colleagues to make sure you get a good grade. A good exam and quizzes are essential for a good grade

there are 2 group projects in which you need to find and use real world data, and apply the concepts to them. do the extra mile! only counts the one with higher grade, so you can only do the first one that is the easier one. the midterm and final exam consist of final value answers and a few multiple questions more theorical. you can see the formula sheet in the excel but the calculations need to be done by hand. you can learn mainly by seeing the video lectures and practicing all the exercises.

The material taught in the asynchronous classes is very similar to the one taught in regular classes. There are two group assignments, each one lasting two weeks, and only the one with the highest grade counts to the final grade, therefore getting a good grade on the first one, leaves more time for other group projects at the end of the semester.
