Operations Management

Not a very hard subject. Pretty simple with typical all the same exercises. Recommend attending practical classes to learn how to solve the exercises. Theoretical classes are also useful as there are a lot of theoretical questions in midterms and exams and slides are not very helpful. Slides have random graphs and pictures without any explanation. For that it can be good to go ti theoretical classes. Not a lot of workload.

It’s an interesting course where you learn throughout the lectures the whole process of operations in companies. Then, in practical sessions, you get to put the knowledge into practice, make calculations and give the best strategies and solutions.

Go to the practical classes and you will understand every exercise. Try to study the concepts for the midterms as they are quite important for multiple choices. The resumes are enough for all the concepts you need.

It’s a really easy course, you can get a good grade without studying a lot.

The Professor was very very nice and fair. You should come to his class and write your name on the board after class. The group work contained questions and your group had to answer them with calculations. The exam was really easy when you were studying with the weekly tests. I studied one day for the exam but had a summary already done (during class) and my overall grade was 19.

Professor did this course the first time but was very organized and structured. The slides are all connected to each other and tell a story. A lot of examples to understand the concepts. Professor and exam are fair, he is open for feedback. High grades possible. Weekly graded tests. Case study (group work) is doable. Be present in his classes to understand the calculations.
