Technology Strategy

The professor went through the frameworks a bit quickly and there’s lots of discussion in class. You had to be quite prepared for the exam and the multiple choice questions were a bit difficult. The group work was graded nicely though.

I did not enjoy this course as much as I expected. Each session revolved around an in-class case discussion, but many of the cases felt disconnected from technology strategy and more like general cases about a company. As a result, it was sometimes difficult to see the direct relevance to the course’s stated objectives. There was a group project and final presentation at the end of the semester. The presentation component was straightforward, and the grading felt relatively generous and easy to get. However, the final exam was extremely challenging. participation counted 20% of the final grade, so it was important to go to all the classes and participate. you can get a very good grade on the group project by applying the frameworks learned. the exam in the T2 was tough with multiple questions with some content we didn’t learn at class. the professor is very passionate about the course and his slides are useful for the group work and the exam.

Participation is important. Good grades on the group project, just apply frameworks you learned in class.

really low workload, one main project and one short. easy exam, easy course but you won’t learn anything. the whole course is dictated by the presentation of the students
