The workload is only not "Very Light" because you're forced to go to every class for weekly evaluations, although those are more presence checks than evaluations (mostly 2-minute roleplay presentations). The course's content is extremely akin to late 2010s LinkedIn brainrot phenomenon of "soft skills", the dystopian HR perspective on being a model professional that could be answered by common sense, and the worst part of it is you have to participate in it with even more dystopian roleplay theatrics whose absurdity is akin to Nathan Fielder's "The Rehearsal". The people who need this class...

Easy to have a good grade. Going to classes and making one or two activities through the class was worth in total, 40% of the final grade. Besides that, you also have a 20 minutes group presentation and a individual video, each worth 30% of the final grade. The workload isn't that heavy, and, although it's mostly common sense, it's not that bad.

One of the most important courses that I'm glad is mandatory. I could see so many people in class that had no grasp of basic communication and came out of their shell by the end of the course.

I'm really glad something like this exists.

You should hope that they remove it from the curriculum... It's a waste of time IMO

Overall Impression

In this course, you learn many aspects of communication, especially related to presentations and feedback. However, the classes are generally boring and much of the content feels repetitive or unengaging.

Despite that, there are several opportunities to earn easy points just by attending and participating passively.

Lectures and Presentations

Weekly Structure

  • At the end of each class, there is either:
    • An individual or dual presentation on the topic of the day
    • Or, from week 4 onwards, a group presentation with 4 people...
