The course has a very high workload if you have little knowledge of derivatives or hedging strategies, and lectures can be hard to keep up with. That said, the professor is good and the topics are interesting. However, the exam was poorly constructed and contained various questions that did not align with the practice materials, resulting in very heterogeneous grades.
Difficult course in terms of content, would only advise to take it if you have a minimal knowledge of derivatives. Useful if you like financial products as it focuses on derivatives; also teaches how to apply these products in real-life risk problems in businesses. Light workload and exam is 90% examples seen in class, so it's possible to get a 20 if you're comfortable with derivatives and understand the content.
