This course was very boring, with way too much theory and absolutely no practical problem-solving classes (2025/2026).

The exam was on Moodle (online) and was far too long for the time given. Some students used Gemini and ChatGPT during the test to get good grades, while others played by the rules. This was incredibly unfair. In my opinion, this stems from laziness: the professors don't seem to want to manually grade the exams, so they rely on a platform to do the work for them.

Do not recommend.

The project is kinda boring and does not touch a big majority of the contents taught, only search algorithms. The main professor is really nice, but the Course overall is disappointing. There are too many theoretical classes per week. I probably would break them down to have at least a 90 minute problem class instead of one of the theoretical. I found it really unfair that a lot of people cheated on the final exam with AI and there were no measures in place to stop it.

Tha course in it self is VERY boring, it deals from logic systems to search algorithms and intelligent agents, the project main emphasis is search algorithms to find fast and optimal routes to an objective, the theoretical part is terribly boring, the project is alright

It's a decent introductory course for AI. No classes are mandatory, and honestly I'd say you're just better off skipping them and reading the slides for yourself.

The project was very easy to get a decent grade, but hard to get a very good grade.

There were plenty of exam-like questions with answers. The exam was done online.

Overall I'd describe this course as being very similar in content to the AI course of the Comp Sci Bachelor's at IST, but more theoretical and a little less enjoyable.

Professores tranquilos, a avaliação é automática, o que deixa fazer várias tentativas até chegar à nota máxima. A matéria é tranquila, a ideia para o exame é fazer exercícios de exames anteriores porque são muito parecidos. A avaliação dos professores é relativamente tranquila, só há uma defesa de nota, mas desde que percebam o código que usaram, não deve haver grandes problemas
