Ciência de Redes Complexas
Student Feedback
The course is very well structured and professor Francisco is honestly amazing. His lectures are very interesting and one can see he's very passionate about the topic. I found graph theory interesting and little prior knowledge is actually required to follow the course. I'd say you shall only have a good grasp of python programming (even though I think you can develop the project in other programming languages). The project per se is interesting, you're given a series of papers from which you can choose one to replicate, even though personal suggestions or twists are highly appreciated. Note...

The professor is super chill, the projects are open-ended and simple, and the exam is really not hard at all. I found all the topics interesting:
- Game Theory
- 'Virus modeling' (can’t remember the exact name, but it was very simple and fun)
- Graphs - which seem complex because he gives a bunch of formulas to support the logic, but he says you don’t need to memorize them — and it’s true!
10/10 would recommend.
