Objectives

The goal of this course is to provide students with technical skills to setup a GIS application successfully. The practical component of the course is based in ArcGIS software although the use of other tools is also encouraged. Vector and raster model, network analysis, 3D analysis, WebGIS applications and open source GIS are some of the topics covered.
