At the end of this course the student will have acquired knowledge, skills and competences that will allow him to:

A. Know the dual objective of Ergonomics (maximizing the system's productivity and people's well-being).

B. Understand the forms of Human-System interaction (HSI) in emerging work environments, in the context of Industry 4.0.

C. Understand the role of Ergonomics in the design of Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS).

D. Know the applicable usability requirements of CPS.

E. Being able to apply ergonomic analysis methodologies to interactions in complex work systems, identifying the potentialrisks associated with an CPS.

F. Being able to (re) design solutions that maximize / guarantee the usability of an CPS.
