This course can be fun if you're into game development and game design. There is no theoretical evaluation and the project has several stages of development, starting with the concept pitch, followed by the design documents, prototypes and playtesting sessions. It is very important that you group with people that are synced and share the same idea(s) for the game or else chaos arises. The couse was fun even if you've never done a game or don't really have a lot of interest in it. The workload was not very balanced through the weeks and some grades were given without equal criteria, mostly graded based on comparison with other groups. Only do this course if you have a good group, very frustrating to do with people that do not care/don't answer.

For gaming students, MDJ is a must-take - but I guess I don't need to say much about that. It's literally called 'Game Development Methodology,' and I think it's the direct continuation of Game Design.

The Professors are the same: Rui Prada and Carlos Martinho, both super cool.

You end up literally developing a game, and at the end, there's the 'Game Showcase', which is essentially like a gaming conference where people can try your game and provide...
