The teacher (Marcelino Santos) is very good explaining everything and he always followed a smooth rhythm in his classes so we could understand clearly what each circuit does, what are its advantages and disadvantages and how we can improve those circuits

Although the software used in the labs isn't the easiest to use, the labs are a great way of learning the concepts and validating those concepts with the theoretical concepts

As for the exam, I strongly suggest doing the previous years' exams as they help you a lot in preparing yourself for the exam

Theoretical classes for this subject were super weird, it felt as if the teacher was trying to teach you how to use the program that you're supposed to use in lab classes instead of actually teaching microelectronics. They were kind of a collection of random facts. The labs themselves are also a bit painful to go through, the program used is extremely slow and clunky and you need to get pretty much all the info you need from the class bibliography. The final exam is pretty easy if you study a bit.
