Objectives

The main learning goal is the acquisition of new theoretical knowledge regarding Medical Physics, which will allow to understand its practical application, which, in turn, will allow the development of skills and competences regarding all the main themes that will be addressed in theoretical classes, seminars and practices: Organization and Functioning of Hospital Units; Safety and Health at Work; Deontology and Medical Ethics; Functions and Framing of the Medical Physicist in the Multidisciplinary Team; The Risks Associated with Diagnostic and Treatment Procedures in the Scope of Medical Physics; Implementation of Quality Systems and Control Methodologies.

Syllabus

The syllabus to be developed will be framed in the following themes: Organization and Functioning of Hospital Units; Safety and Health at Work; Deontology and Medical Ethics; Functions and Framing of the Medical Physicist in the Multidisciplinary Team; The Risks Associated with Diagnostic and Treatment Procedures in the Field of Medical Physics; Implementation of Quality Systems and Control Methodologies.
