Ótica Aplicada e Lasers (Fcul)
Descrição
Objectives
A – To know the main concepts of optics and lasers (in the more integrated and industrial context of photonics) relevant to the development of instrumentation and applications of light, completing and making more operational knowledge of previous training cycles. B – Present the concepts and models related to light in a progressive order of detail in order to cover the understanding of how it works and also to provide tools for its optimization, necessarily going through computational applications and simulation. C – Present several current technological options for the implementation of the various instrumental functionalities relevant to light technologies and applications. D – Develop a clear understanding of the levels of interface with detection systems, where applicable.
