Objectives

O1. Understand the principles of intelligent process analysis. O2. Apply data science, machine learning, and formal methods to the analysis of work processes. O3. Develop skills in process mining, including automated process discovery, conformance checking and process enrichment. O4. Evaluate process performance using data-driven insights. O5. Understand how to leverage Large Language Models (LLMs) for process analysis. O6. Analyze complex work processes by using advanced techniques, also focusing on perspectives beyond the control flow.

Process mining: process enrichment and performance analysis C6. Predictive analysis in process analysis via machine learning C7. Conversational AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) for process analysis C8. Advanced techniques, current challenges and frontiers in process analysis

• Critical and Innovative Thinking: creativity, approaches to problem solving, by carrying out the written exams or the two tests, and by conducting the project Oral Presentation * Interpersonal Skills: Oral Communication, Written communication, Teamwork, and Leadership, for carrying out the Project in groups of 3. * Information and media literacy: Structuring and formatting of reports and presentations, through the development of fact sheets and reports related to the definition of project plans, and other artifacts related to process management.

Laboratorial Component

Realization of Group project. Usage of process modeling, simulation, analysis and mining tools.

Programming And Computing Component

In the course where this UC is offered are assured the components of Computing and Programming according to MEPP 2122.
