Objectives
To acquire knowledge of: - Motivations and mobility limitations in the various social groups and age groups - Evolution of desires and patterns of mobility - Relations between intentions and behavior, and ways to influence them - Key attributes of transport offers that influence the choices of travelers - Transport Marketing - Social impacts of transport policies - Methods of social dialogue in the transport. To master the following competencies: - Identifying mobility patterns prevailing in a given national context, identify individual strains and social conditions and point out the likely developments of one and all - Identify ways to influence behavior regarding mobility and outline plans to do so.
Syllabus
Key factors of mobility, their social distribution and temporal evolution. Emerging forms of mobility associated with modern social and technological. Evaluation of levels of accessibility and equity, ways to mitigate the injustices. From intention to individual behavior, individual and societal objectives. Key attributes driving individual choices and bringing them closer to collective goals. Marketing Plans and their application in transport. The acceptability of unpopular measures: involvement of stakeholders and building social capital.

Cross Competence Component
Due to evaluation structure (70% within group practical works) it is believed that the course contributes to development of personal and with others relationships competences, promoting the criticism and diferenciated approaches about the necessary analysis of the subjects, and demanding the search of alternatives not previously discussed.
Programming And Computing Component
Students when doing the practical works are exposed to the use of software available to approaches analysis and eventual design of alternatives.
