Differentiate soft skills from hard skills; Recognize Communication as one of the fundamental soft skills in Computer Engineering; Differentiate verbal communication from non-verbal communication; List different areas of non- verbal communication; Recognize good practices in different areas of non- verbal communication; Identify consequences of ineffective feedback; Distinguish ineffective feedback from effective feedback; Identify active listening behaviors; Recognize the results of active listening in interpersonal interactions; List effective questioning strategies; Distinguish interpersonal from intrapersonal communication; Describe the importance of intrapersonal communication; Apply good practices in the creation of presentations; Identify the appropriate verbal and non-verbal aspects in public communications; Recognize good communication practices in the context of interviews (recruitment).
