Património e Museologia

To provide knowledge, both theoretical and practical, of what Museology and Heritage concerns. From their scientific training, students could understand natural heritage conservation and valorization processes (particularly the geological one) because it’s expected that in theirs professional careers, they must deal with those issues with a social and economic range. Therefore, the master intends:
- To be able to understand and discuss concepts and practices in what museology and museography concerns, comparing with case studies
- To reinforce the dissemination process of Paleontology and Geology with the public
- To diversify the paradigm of tourism offer
- To amplify the importance of land management policies
