Tratamento de Resíduos e Tecnologias de Reciclagem

The goal of this course is to give the Master students a general overview on technical and scientific aspects on prevention, valorisation and recycling of wastes with a strong incidence in Materials Science and processing technologies. Aspects of the valorisation of wastes through waste treatment and recycling strategies allowing for a more efficient technical, ecological and economic action will also be discussed. The students will also approach prevention in the production of residues and wastes through modernization of organization and management strategies of the productive sector having in mind the minimization of industrial wastes.
