Description
This CU aims to promote knowledge and reflection on school organization and the teaching profession, taking into account the characteristics and challenges that educational systems currently face. The aim is to promote the development of knowledge and skills that support teachers' intervention in the construction of inclusive and socially equitable school organizations. More specifically, we seek to:
- Understand school management models and the roles assigned to the various actors that make up school organizations;
- Know the entities involved in educational policy decisions, as well as the characteristics of the Portuguese educational system in the international context;
- Understand the diversity of logics and cultures of school organizations and curricular models;
- Understand the dynamics of school and classroom functioning in their complexity;
- Understand the relevance of your experiences as a student for the construction of your teaching professionalism;
- Be able to position oneself regarding ethical issues inherent to teaching identity and professionalism;
- Be able to identify teachers' contributions to making school organizations more inclusive and more equitable from a social point of view.
