Description
The objective of the Reliability Engineering curricular unit is to provide the students with a broad knowledge on the subject of Reliability Engineering, namely on the underlying theoretical principles, as well as on the methods used in practice for the statistical and probabilistic analysis of failures in equipment. The students of Reliability Engineering are intended to acquire fundamental knowledge to perform functions in industry, in order to prevent and correct failures in a timely manner, maximizing the availability and safety of the equipment.
