Description
This course aims to cohesively, concisely, and comprehensively present the essential fundamentals of project management, based on international standards, best practices, and professional knowledge, as well as on theories, methods, and tools developed through research. These elements are used to effectively initiate, organize, plan, control, and close projects. By the end of the course, students should be able to:
• Understand and contextualize project management within organizational settings;
• Identify, characterize, and apply various methodologies, methods, and tools in different productive environments;
• Effectively manage critical variables such as time and cost, understanding their impact on the scope and quality of projects;
• Develop and implement project management plans, ensuring efficiency and the achievement of established objectives;
• Understand and interpret models of professional practices recognized as standards in project management;
• Recognize the importance and processes of professional certification in project management.
