Description
Objectives
It is intended that the students acquire and develop mltiple transversal competences such as Critical Thinking, Interpersonal competences, Intrapersonal competences, Citizenship and information and media literacy. The students should know how to apply the knowledge obtained and practiced during the internship which will depend on the internership itself.
Syllabus
This curricular unit involves a trainning period either in mining, quarries or related companies or in research centers, the students will contact with the industrial or research practice of Geological and Mining Engineering. Additionally, it can be obtained information or prepared the experimental component of the dissertation. The training contents is defined and selected according to a set of proposals of companies.
Cross Competence Component
The CU allows the development of transversal competences in Critical Thinking, Interpersonal competences, Intrapersonal competences, Citizenship and Information and Media Literacy. The percentage of evaluation associated to these competences should be around 50%.
Ethical Principles
All members of a group are responsible for the group's work. In any assessment, every students shall honestly disclose any help received and sources used. In an oral assessment, every students shall be able to present and answer questions about the entire assignment and solution.
