Description

By the end of this course, the student will have acquired knowledge, skills, and competencies that enable them to:

  • Deeply understand the biochemical processes involved in proteomics and metabolomics, and master the use of contemporary analytical technologies and methods for diagnosis and prognosis.
  • Apply omics knowledge in diagnosis and prognosis, with a focus on precision medicine and personalized treatments.
  • Understand the main biochemical mechanisms and bioinformatics methods that underpin the analysis and interpretation of omics data.
  • Use case studies and practical projects to address challenges in omics diagnostics and prognostics.
  • Stay updated with emerging innovations and trends in omics sciences, promoting adaptation and innovation.
  • Work effectively in teams.
  • Develop the ability to communicate and discuss results with specialists and non-specialists, using appropriate scientific language, concisely and clearly.
