At the end of this course, the student will have acquired knowledge, skills and competences that will allow him to acquire knowledge about:
1. Nutritional and non-nutritional constituents of food and on the physiology of nutrition;
2. Food components and their main chemical changes;
3. Composition by food groups;
4. Nutraceuticals and functional foods.
