The materials were very interesting, combining with real life event. The teaching was outstanding.

The theoretical classes are better in the second half of the semester, but they are not really that necessary. I recomend you to try to have your best grade in the first midterm as it is the easiest. The best way to study is to do previous exams.

The slides are not 100% complete with all of the things, they have the most important concepts and content but still you need to go to classes to be able to complete whatever information professors add in class.

Going to Practical sessions helps you reinforce what was talked in theoretical as well as do exercises which is really important for the course.

Overall you are not going to have trouble in this course.

Not a good class to do grade improvement or to decide to do the exam 100%. There is a group project and there are questions about it in both midterms and exams as well. Practical classes are useful but exercises are very random and sometimes not all is clearly explained. Theoretical classes can be helpful but are very skipable as well.

Principles of Macroeconomics lasts twelve weeks and is one of the easiest courses you have in the first year. It's sort of a continuation of highschool economics, but more focused on big entities, like, governments and the Central Bank. There are two midterms, both of them are more or less at the same level of difficulty, maybe the second is slightly easier. You have three groups of questions: multiple choice, questions where you have to calculate something (normally, all the questions in this group are connected) and, finally, development questions. The slides are not always complete, but are...

Boring classes and teachers. The evaluations could be worse. The practical classes given by TAs is what saves most students, they’re great!

Different from the principles of micro, this course is more theorical and a little bit more graphic analysis.

Hated this course. Used the powerpoints and what SU had in their portals. Used chat GPT to explain the exercises on the workbook and it was really helpful to understand better I believe. The first midterm was easier than the second, so I recommend trying to get a good grade on the first midterm. Complement by reading macroeconomics books, written in the recommendations on moodle.

One of the first courses i took so i was not ready to the amount of study that the university takes but it is not as hard as other courses. It is a theoretical course but once you understand the concepts and the graphs it is not that challenging. Go to the practical classes, they help a lot.

It is heavy and you need to know a lot of concepts as well as the graphics for the midterms. The TAs are the best option to help you understand how to answer questions. Read the news and documents the teacher puts on Moodle.
