Objectives

Study of the techniques and methodologies applied to digital forensic evidence. During the courses students seize the different phases of the forensics methodology and its application to the collection and processing of digital evidence in different media, including evidence collected from the network, the volatile and persistent memory of information systems and active network management system, and even the memory of mobile devices. It will also discuss some relevant issues to the process of collecting and processing data in order to allow production evidential legal aspects.

Syllabus

Fundamentals of forensic analysis, methodology, data types. Forensic analysis of networks, network data analysis, analysis of asset management systems. Forensic analysis of systems, Windows and Linux systems, mobile systems.
