This course can be a lot of fun if you're a creative person and are proficient with multimedia production software, but be prepared to produce an average of about three multimedia projects per week if you are aiming for a good grade (>= 17), which is considerable workload despite not seeming like it. Furthermore, the topics covered in the theoretical classes and labs have nothing to do with the absurd amount of multimedia assignments that we are expected to produce and submit on Moodle, and there is also the risk that a work will receive a poor evaluation and not be accepted, requiring...

This class is awesome if you already do multimedia production as your spare time job / hobby. I had a great time because I already knew pretty much every tool necessary for the course and do multimedia production in my spare time.
However, this class teaches you almost nothing useful for your deliveries. You spend all labs working with Processing but outside the labs, this is completely unnecessary. They teach you no tool you need for the various audio, image and video deliverables.
If you are comfortable with image, audio and video manipulation software you are sure to be able to get a top...

The course is very interesting and fun! I highly recommend it to anyone with a creative mind, even if it’s not directly related to your career path. The course is gamified, which makes the learning experience even more engaging! The teachers are super nice and always available to help. Achieving a good grade is definitely possible, but it requires consistent work. Be prepared to do weekly assignments and spend around 6–10 hours per week on them. However, the assignments are really enjoyable, and you often get to choose between different paths, which makes the experience more personalized and...

Super fun course, but also quite work-intensive, especially for someone with no prior multimedia experience.
The professors are almost all really nice and helpful.
It’s super easy to pass, but getting a good grade will require putting in a solid number of hours.
The main components of the course are:
- The skill tree, where you complete mini-projects of different multimedia types of your choice (for example, I picked mostly audio-related stuff);
- The quizzes in the theoretical class — super chill;
- The final multimedia presentation, where you pick a...

For people into visualization, PCM is pretty cool.
The course is basically about doing a bunch of multimedia content production stuff. That means making videos, posters, podcasts — all sorts of things.
The cool part is that the whole course is gamified, and it works like a skill tree. You start with basic projects, and as you complete them, you unlock new ones.
I thought the concept was super cool — it’s one of those courses where you decide what you want to do, although some things have dependencies.
Another nice thing is that, if I’m not mistaken, you can resubmit to...
